Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens with proper safety data sheet (SDS) adherence.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while following hotel housekeeping management protocols.
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly handling chemical agents and adhering to hotel emergency procedures when necessary.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen carts or cleaning supplies while maintaining manual handling safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor at all times.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of chemical handling, and sanitation standards.
- Strong understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols related to chemical handling and heavy lifting.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.
- Previous hotel housekeeping or housekeeping management experience is a plus.

Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 38.0 per week
