What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Holiday Inn Express Jamestown NY?
Clean and service all areas of guestrooms to ensure they are spotless and prepared for the guest. This will include cleaning tub, showers sink toilets, taking out garbage. restocking supplies, change sheets and make beds, dust, mop and vacuum. The housekeeper will need to work at a quick and efficient pace to ensure all rooms are ready for 3 pm check in time. Will be responsible for an average of 15 to 20 rooms per day. Must be flexible and willing to adapt to changes as needed.
Greet and acknowledge guests, notify maintenance department of any needed repairs or unsafe conditions, respond to guest complaints, special requests and take actions to ensure guest satisfaction, assist with deep cleaning jobs as needed.
