Job Summary
Holiday Inn Express Hillsville by IHG is seeking a diligent housekeeper to maintain a clean an orderly environment for our hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the premises while following IHG's Way of Clean Program.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Change linens and make beds.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding, if necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety standards while carrying out cleaning tasks.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in floor care, industrial cleaning, and housekeeping management.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Understanding of hospitality or hotel housekeeping standards.
