What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Holiday Inn Express Hillsboro?
We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team at Holiday Inn Express. Our Housekeeping team plays a vital role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest.
Responsibilities include:
- Clean and service guest rooms according to brand and hotel standards.
- Make beds, replace linens, replenish amenities, and ensure rooms are guest-ready.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, furniture, and other room surfaces.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and storage areas in an organized manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas of the hotel, including the lobby, hallways, public restrooms, elevators, entryways, and other common spaces, ensuring they remain clean, stocked, and welcoming throughout the day.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
Must be available 7 days a week
5 days on, 2 days off
MUST be available weekends and holidays
