Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, performing a variety of maintenance tasks, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintenance and repair work, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, HVAC repairs, and general repairs
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule preventative maintenance, and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally
- Fabricate components or structures as necessary to support maintenance operations
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and tenants
- Proficient in fabrication techniques
- Strong command of English for effective communication in both verbal and written forms
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and repairing various systems
- Experience in residential painting is desirable but not mandatory
- HVAC Certification (preferred)
