What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at Holiday Inn Express Hamburg, NY?
Overview
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hamburg is seeking a reliable and friendly Front Desk Agent for the day/evening shift 3PM-11PM and the overnight shift 11PM-7AM. We are a 24/7 business so weekend and holiday availability may be necessary. When you apply, please indicate each day(s) of the week you are available.
A successful candidate for this position will be welcoming, efficient, professional, computer savvy, and a capable problem solver.
Main duties include:
- Accurate handling of guest reservations, payments including credit card and cash handling, and following check in/out procedures
- Prompt, friendly responses to guest requests or concerns, and following up to ensure satisfaction
- Compliance with hotel safety protocols and brand standards, including emergency and security procedures
- Supplying information on hotel services, area information and directions
- Assist with clerical duties including filing, photocopying, faxing, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
Prior hospitality experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person!
Pay: $16.75 - $17.75 per hour
