Schedule:
- Fixed Days: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Shift: Early mornings (typically starting around 4:30 AM. Hours may vary slightly based on hotel occupancy.
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our morning hospitality—preparing food, welcoming guests, and maintaining a spotless dining environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Food Prep & Service: Prepare, set up, stock, and routinely replenish the breakfast buffet (beverages, food items, utensils) to ensure high quality and standard presentation.
- Guest Relations: Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, assist with needs, and maintain a professional atmosphere.
- Dining Cleanliness: Promptly clear/bus tables, wipe counters, and replace utensils for cleanliness during service hours.
- Post-Service Breakdown & Deep Cleaning: After breakfast concludes, perform total kitchen and dining area cleanup for the next day. This includes:
- Trash removal from public and dining areas.
- Cleaning and sanitizing public restrooms.
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming work areas.
- Washing, storing, and organizing all kitchen equipment.
- Completing the daily cleaning checklist, restocking inventory, and locking up.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling regulations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person.
- ServSafe certification is a plus (but not required).
- Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented work ethic.
- Ability to maintain a clean, professional personal appearance daily.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, and reach overhead for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, steps, and service ramps.
