We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Hotels are open 24/7, so shift flexibility is required. Previous hotel front desk experience preferred, but not required. Opera property management experience is preferred, but not required.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages effectively.
- Assist with reservations, modifications, and cancellations as needed.
- Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences.
- Address any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Flexibility to work all 3 shifts as scheduling is based on business levels: 7AM - 3PM, 3PM - 11PM, and 11PM - 7AM (It is mandatory to train each shift.)
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel setting is advantageous.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Strong phone etiquette and proficiency in using phone systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physically capable of standing long periods of time, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- A background in hospitality management is beneficial but not mandatory.
