What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant-Hotel - Seasonal position at Holiday Inn Express Bensalem?
Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and display food items as needed each day (i.e., coffee, and other beverage items, hot buffet items, fruits, pastries, cereals, spreads, etc.)
- Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- Maintain close interaction with staff and guests to ensure guest satisfaction
- Prepare and serve food using safe food handling and storage guidelines
- Appropriately package any food items to be used the following day
- Inventory food and beverages supplies as needed each day
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Details:
- Day shift hours. Some weekends and holidays are required.
- Frequently lift items weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequent pushing/pulling of housekeeping and laundry carts·
- Frequently standing and moving about the facility ·
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner·
- Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility
- Able to work alone as well as being a team member
