Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing different types of flooring to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and other amenities to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to uphold health standards and prevent accidents.
• Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and uniforms.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold quality standards.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking cleaning supplies and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and special requests efficiently.
• Uphold hospitality standards by providing friendly service and addressing guest needs courteously.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work, preferably within the hospitality industry or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation practices.
• Experience with hotel housekeeping operations or custodial management is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, extractors, and floor polishers safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning products and safety guidelines related to chemical handling.

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
