Are you a night owl with an eye for detail? We are seeking a reliable, independent Night Auditor to manage our overnight front desk operations and financial closeouts. You will be the face of the hotel during the night, balancing excellent guest service with precise bookkeeping to prepare our property for the upcoming day.
Core Responsibilities
- Financial Auditing: Balance daily credit card transactions, reports, and department logs. Close out the business day using our property management system.
- Guest Relations: Process late-night check-ins, early check-outs, and handle guest inquiries with a warm, professional attitude.
- Problem Solving: Resolve overnight guest complaints, reservation issues, and maintenance requests independently.
- Safety & Security: Maintain a safe environment by monitoring hotel entrances, conducting property walkthroughs, and handling emergencies according to protocol.
- Shift Handover: Prepare and distribute daily financial reports for management and brief the morning shift team on overnight events.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in a front desk, customer service, or basic bookkeeping role.
- Strong math skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computer systems, Excel, Word, Google Sheets, Email (experience with hotel PMS software is highly preferred).
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have reliable transportation and be very dependable.
