- Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Handle laundry materials carefully, including textiles, linens, towels, and uniforms, ensuring proper sorting and processing.
- Manage materials handling tasks using push carts and other equipment to transport laundry loads efficiently throughout the facility.
- Follow strict sanitation protocols to maintain hygiene standards across all laundry operations.
- Use basic math skills for measuring laundry detergents and adjusting machine settings for different load sizes.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when loading or unloading large baskets or bulky items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards in production environments at all times.
- Assist with customer service by responding promptly to laundry requests when applicable.
