What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites?
This position is 3rd shift. It would be 11:00pm-7:00am, every Friday & Saturday night. It is 16 hours a week.
- Perform all front desk duties, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and ensure accuracy
- Prepare daily reports, including occupancy reports, revenue reports, and guest account summaries
- Monitor and maintain the security of the hotel premises during the night shift
- Assist with guest services, such as delivering amenities or arranging transportation
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests
- Utilize phone systems and other communication tools to handle incoming calls and messages with proper etiquette
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest relations role is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and procedures
- Familiarity with hotel management software systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
