Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and custodial services, with experience in hospitality, janitorial, or industrial cleaning environments. This role is vital to ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The Housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including floor care and general sanitation, to uphold our high standards of cleanliness.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust or debris
- Handle waste disposal responsibly and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly to prevent accidents
- Adhere to health and safety regulations related to hospitality and custodial services
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as required
Experience
- Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial work preferred
- Hotel experience or background in hospitality is a plus
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous
- Experience with floor care including polishing, stripping, and sealing floors is desirable
- Proven ability to manage housekeeping tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with housekeeper management practices is beneficial but not required
