The Housekeeper is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by ensuring the hotel guest rooms are properly cleaned and maintained.
Housekeeper Job Responsibilities:
· Make beds, change bed linens, clean, dust, and vacuum.
· Remove and replace used towels and amenities.
· Maintains linen cart and supplies in a neat and organized manner.
· Removes and disposes of trash.
· Ensures security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
· Clean other designated areas such as restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and other public areas.
· Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
· May assist with other duties as assigned.
A successful Housekeeper candidate needs to possess the following:
· Basic communication skills.
· This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items.
· The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
· Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays are required.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
Position Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Two years previous housekeeping experience required.
