We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Office Manager to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel/resort. Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available to guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Operate phone systems to answer calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
Requirements
- Assist staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guest.
- Review all information pertinent to the days business.
- Ensure staff is using all of IHG Brand Standards.
- Must be actively involved in ongoing technical and personal service training on a daily basis.
- Monitor the check-in/check-out process, ensuring agreement to hotel standards, anticipate critical situations and assist wherever necessary to help alleviate the pressure and to process the guest expediently.
- Handle all guest complaints in a polite and professional manner.
- Adhere to hotel requirements for guest/employee accidents or injuries and in emergency situations.
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality management is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with hotel operations, including night audit processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous.
