Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Office Manager to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel/resort. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the high standards of our establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available to guests.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Operate phone systems to answer calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.

Requirements

  • Assist staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guest.
  • Review all information pertinent to the days business.
  • Ensure staff is using all of IHG Brand Standards.
  • Must be actively involved in ongoing technical and personal service training on a daily basis.
  • Monitor the check-in/check-out process, ensuring agreement to hotel standards, anticipate critical situations and assist wherever necessary to help alleviate the pressure and to process the guest expediently.
  • Handle all guest complaints in a polite and professional manner.
  • Adhere to hotel requirements for guest/employee accidents or injuries and in emergency situations.
  • Previous experience in guest services or hospitality management is preferred.
  • Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations, including night audit processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
