Duties

• Operate laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and other cleaning machines.
• Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Inspect linens and garments for stains, tears, or damage; perform stain removal or notify management for repairs.
• Fold, organize, and store clean linens and guest items in designated areas for easy access by housekeeping staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing equipment and workspaces.
• Follow proper procedures for handling delicate or specialty items requiring dry cleaning or special treatment.
• Record laundry loads and ensure timely turnaround to meet hotel operational needs.

Skills

• Proven experience in laundry operations, including use of commercial laundry equipment.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and stain removal methods.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens meet quality standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

• Laundry for 87 room hotel.
• Be tidy and organized.
• Be neat, clean, and well-groomed.
• Be able to push and pull a supply cart.
• Be able to lift up to 20lbs.
• Be on time.
• Be reliable.
