Job Summary:
Holiday Inn Express – Wesley Chapel is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant with prior hotel laundry experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and quality standards for all linens and terry while supporting overall hotel operations. Experience in hotel laundry operations is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize all linens, towels, and uniforms according to brand standards
- Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and report issues to housekeeping leadership
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room, equipment, and storage areas
- Handle chemicals safely and follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensure correct inventory levels of clean linens for housekeeping and front desk operations
- Assist housekeeping team as needed during peak times
- Follow IHG brand standards and hotel operational procedures
- Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff
Qualifications
- Prior hotel laundry or housekeeping experience required (Holiday Inn Express or IHG hotels preferred)
- Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
