Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked throughout service
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and maintaining food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, utensils, and equipment, while adhering to sanitation protocols
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional guest service to enhance their morning experience
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for any paid breakfast services or special orders
- Restock supplies and condiments as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Support with bussing tables and clearing dishes promptly to maintain a tidy environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess, catering assistant, or banquet server is preferred
- Familiarity with food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Skills in meal preparation, knife handling, meat cutting, and basic cooking techniques are beneficial
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of dietary accommodations and food safety regulations to ensure guest well-being
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction
