Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s physical facilities and ensuring all equipment, systems, and guest areas are in excellent working condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting).
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to identify maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure all issues are resolved efficiently.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report any major repairs or safety hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards.
- Support preventive maintenance programs for equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal guest disruption during maintenance work.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexible schedule, must be available for weekends or evenings as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
Pay: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour
