Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure that all linens are properly cleaned and presented. This position is essential in providing our guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry operations by washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist in the organization of storage areas for cleaning supplies and laundry items.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional services or items.
Skills
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning processes and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to launder various types of fabrics effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
