We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team at a vibrant hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a passion for hospitality. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional guest experiences. This position requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Work shift hours are 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage front desk operations, including checking guests in and out of the hotel efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Assist with night audit procedures as required, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction regarding room conditions and amenities.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while managing incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Hospitality management experience is highly desirable; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with night audit processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in phone etiquette.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
