Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant experience during their stay. Your responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, assisting with guest inquiries, and facilitating smooth check-in and check-out processes. Ideal candidates will have a background in hospitality management and possess strong communication skills. IHG / Holiday Inn Express background is a plus, however not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests.
- Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Operate multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist with night audit duties as needed, ensuring accurate reporting of daily transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs effectively.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned by management
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management or guest services is REQUIRED.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, including night audit processes, is an advantage.
