Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all designated areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Care for floors by sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and applying appropriate treatments to maintain a polished appearance.
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and service spaces efficiently while respecting privacy and safety protocols.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure operational readiness.
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning activities and handle cleaning equipment responsibly.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and ensure all assigned tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
- Expertise in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing for various flooring types.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred to understand guest service expectations.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and custodial practices to handle diverse environments effectively.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and supplies, ensuring safe and efficient use of tools.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
