Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of all hotel financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing friendly and professional service at the front desk.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a positive attitude, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, controlling access points, and ensuring safety procedures are followed throughout the property.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing information and assistance to guests and staff as needed.
- Prepare detailed shift reports documenting activities, incidents, and financial reconciliations for management review.
- Support guest relations by offering local information, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring a welcoming environment during overnight hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Excellent phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems in a busy hotel setting.
- Demonstrated ability to handle guest relations with professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm during late-night hours.
- Hospitality industry experience preferred; familiarity with resort environments is a plus.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality and security.
