Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations regarding food handling and safety standards.
- Assist with catering events or banquets as needed, providing support in both food service and beverage preparation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, including new drink recipes and brewing techniques.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Familiarity with food handling practices is advantageous.
- Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
