Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a Hotel Houseman, you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the common areas of the hotel. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service will contribute to the overall guest experience.
Duties:
- Clean and maintain hotel, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, and sinks
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Restock towels and other supplies as needed
- Perform general cleaning tasks in common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and stairways
- Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety standards
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on guest needs and hotel occupancy levels
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects as needed
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
