In our fast-paced and dynamic establishment, we are seeking a motivated Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will have the opportunity to showcase your knowledge and experience in crafting delicious cocktails, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Requirements:
- Be of legal age to sell and serve alcohol
- Professional attitude, knowledge, experience as a bartender
- Ability to engage guests in conversation and anticipate their needs
- Current TIPS training certified and State of Maine certified w/ I.D.
- Basic knowledge of Maine State Liquor Laws
- Ability to handle situations with guests who may be intoxicated, including offering assistance to that guest and knowing when to stop serving alcohol
- Flexibility in scheduling. Our business varies with occupancy and groups in house
- Neatly groomed appearance
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. (case beer, liquor & wine)
- Familiarity with surrounding areas of the hotel
- Responsible for upkeep of bar and surrounding lounge area for cleanliness
