Responsibilities
- Perform thorough residential cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to maintain the appearance and hygiene of various surfaces.
- Launder linens and other items as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
- Manage housekeeping duties in accordance with established standards for quality and safety.
- Assist in custodial tasks within commercial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Prepare simple meals when required, demonstrating basic cooking skills.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility or home.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Skills in carpet cleaning and floor care techniques are advantageous.
- A background in custodial services or hotel housekeeping is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
