Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure efficient execution of cleaning and sanitation tasks across all areas of the facility.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices for commercial cleaning and custodial services.
• Oversee industrial cleaning processes, including specialized sanitation tasks to meet health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce safety regulations and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment to protect staff and maintain compliance with health standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and uphold quality assurance standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, customer service skills, and management practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles with demonstrated expertise in industrial cleaning, sanitation, and commercial cleaning environments.
• Strong background in team supervision, staff management, and leadership within hospitality or facility management settings.
• Excellent communication skills for effective managerial communication with staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment handling, and workplace safety procedures.
• Experience managing cleaning & sanitation operations with a focus on hygiene standards in large or complex facilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
• Prior managerial or supervisory experience in housekeeping management or related fields is highly desirable.

Pay: From $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
