Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently during service to maintain a steady flow of guests’ dining experience
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as setting up banquet tables, arranging utensils, and ensuring presentation standards are met
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly to support kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, banquet spaces, and service stations by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Support catering and banquet events by setting up tables, chairs, linens, and serving stations according to event specifications
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages during events
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food handling safety practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting trays or moving furniture
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during busy service times
