What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Prep position at Holiday Deli & Ham Co?
We are a production kitchen that supplies our local restaurants with bulk product and also produces product for sale in a local and a national food chain. The grocery side of our business is expanding rapidly and we need team members with a sense of urgency and the ability to see the big vision, not just a singular job. We are not open to the public therefore there is no customer interaction. We work in a low-key, stress-free, friendly environment. This job would entail reading/understanding recipes and following them to create our recipes. We are very focused on food safety, awareness and following our guidelines are a must.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- good physical stamina, you will be standing for the full shift
- the climate in the kitchen can get very warm and the freezers are very cold
- good visual and speaking skills
- lifting of heavy cases of product
The kitchen operates Monday-Saturday @ 8am - 4pm. This job would require working all of these days minus either Tuesday or Wednesday. These shifts could also run 7am - 3pm if needed.
Weekly hours would run from 36-40 hours
Salary : $11 - $13
