Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), to ensure precise and efficient packaging operations.
- Follow all FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines to maintain product safety and compliance.
- Prepare, assemble, and package products using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to meet production specifications.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the packaging process to identify and address any defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with safety standards and warehouse procedures.
- Utilize forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely for moving materials and finished products.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately documenting packaging activities and ensuring proper storage of finished goods.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred, especially involving packaging or assembly tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing equipment.
- Understanding of FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
