About Us
Hole in the Roof Marketing is a custom apparel and marketing company based in Waco, TX. We specialize in screen printing, embroidery, DTG, DTF, and other decoration services for clients across the country. Our shop runs on teamwork, attention to detail, and a friendly atmosphere — both behind the scenes and at the front door. We work hard and are nice to others.
The Role
We're hiring an Office Administrator to handle the day-to-day financial accounts receivable and timekeeping operations of our business. This is a blended role: the bulk of your time will be spent on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and timekeeping, but you'll also share reporting duties for some of our online stores and financial reporting as required.
This position is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and genuinely enjoys interacting with people. You'll be a key part of keeping our office running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Process accounts payable: enter vendor invoices, schedule payments, reconcile statements, and keep vendor records up to date
- Manage accounts receivable: generate and send customer invoices, apply payments, follow up on past-due accounts, and maintain accurate records
- Maintain timekeeping records for our team: track hours, review time entries for accuracy, and prepare data for payroll
- Assist with general office tasks, filing, and other administrative needs as they come up
- Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and team members
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in an office, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or administrative role
- Comfort with Microsoft 365 (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus — we're willing to train the right person
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with numbers
- Friendly, professional demeanor and good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
