Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled culinary professional to join our team as a donut baker. This role involves preparing, decorating, and packaging a variety of donuts. The hours are set 2 AM to 7 AM Monday through Saturday. This person will work closely with the owner and must be a professional person experience is not needed. It would be helpful, but we will train on the job. we will only be taking in person interview interviews so you must come in between 1130 to 1 PM Monday through Friday please ask for sandy
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble baked goods, pastries, and desserts according to established recipes and standards
- Decorate donuts and pastries.
- mixing and rolling out donuts and cutting them.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, baking, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support catering events or special orders as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and assisting with selections when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in donuts decorating, baking, or food production is highly preferred but will train on job.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation, packaging, and presentation in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity in decorating desserts
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant environment is advantageous
- Culinary or pastry school training is a plus but not mandatory
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
