Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance throughout their shopping journey
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and interest
- Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organized store layout
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to increase sales
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform basic retail math for daily reconciliations
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or providing support remotely
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling better communication with diverse customers
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey product information and assist customers effectively
- Familiarity with grocery store operations, including cashiering, stocking, and merchandising tasks
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail calculations
