Direct Support Professional - Overnight Shift

Location: East Petersburg, PA
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Sunday - Thursday, 12 am - 8 am
Program: Residential Habilitative Program
About the Role:
Looking for meaningful overnight work with great pay and benefits? As an Overnight Direct Support Professional, you'll provide essential care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential home setting. No experience required—we provide comprehensive paid training to set you up for success!
What You'll Do:
Overnight Care & Support:
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents throughout the night
- Provide assistance with personal care needs as required
- Monitor and respond to any medical or behavioral needs
- Implement approved behavior support plans when needed
Independence & Skill Building:
- Support individuals in working toward their personal independence goals
- Provide coaching and guidance following individualized care plans
- Serve as a positive role model and trusted presence
- Assist with morning routines and preparation for the day ahead
Household & Daily Living:
- Help with meal preparation for early morning or evening meals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment
- Complete light housekeeping duties as needed
- Ensure the home is well-organized and comfortable
Documentation & Communication:
- Complete required overnight logs, reports, and data collection
- Communicate important information to day shift staff
- Document any incidents or changes in resident needs
- Maintain accurate medication administration records
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with no more than 3 points on driving record
- PA clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI fingerprinting)
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working overnight hours
