Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, customer-focused setting where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are highly valued. Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities such as towels and toiletries
- Perform floor care including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and spot cleaning stains
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other public spaces
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal and surface disinfection
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and janitorial procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated shifts
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
- Experience with industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is beneficial but not necessary
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding guest service
