Position Summary:
As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be overseeing and maintaining our knife component inventory. This position is also responsible for kitting and staging the appropriate inventory for future operations within our facility, or at an outside service. This position works intimately with the Knife Production Manager, Knife Production Planners, Quality Control Inspectors, and Shipping Team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accurately maintain inventory and manage ready to assemble components
- Work closely with the manufacturing and planning team while exercising strong communication
- Reporting and communicating on any scheduling issues or conflicts
- Issue inventory to work orders appropriately based on products needed
- Ensuring work order accuracy (dates, quantities, transactions, etc.)
Skills/Requirements:
- At least 2 years of inventory experience
- Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment preferred
- Exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills
- ·Strong computer skills
- Experience in scheduling in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience using MRP software preferred
- Ability to identify problems and propose solutions
Location & Commitments
- Full-time, permanent position located at a facility in Paso Robles, CA
- In-office work schedule: 5 days per week.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with machinery and in a production environment
Eligibility Requirements
- Pass pre-employment medical physical and drug screening.
- Clear a Federal Criminal Background Check (ATF permit requirement).
- Provide documentation of eligibility to work in the United States upon hire.
