What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Facility Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations within the manufacturing facility to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement systems and procedures to optimize workflows and reduce downtime.
- Monitor equipment, machinery, and infrastructure to ensure proper functionality.
Maintenance and Repairs
- Plan, schedule, and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize disruptions.
- Coordinate with internal technicians and external contractors for repairs and upgrades.
- Ensure critical infrastructure (HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems) remains in optimal condition.
Budgeting and Resource Management
- Prepare and manage budgets for facility operations and maintenance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and reliability.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Evaluate maintenance costs and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements when needed.
Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal safety regulations in coordination with the safety team.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure employees receive required safety training.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of maintenance staff, engineers, and technicians.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback.

What You Bring

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing or facilities management.
- Proven experience managing complex manufacturing facilities.
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential preferred.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
