Specific responsibilities include:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required, a combination of education and experience may replace bachelor’s preference.
Work Environment – this job operates in shop environment where tools and other machinery is used.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - this is a full-time 2nd shift position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 4p.m. to 2:30 a.m. However, this schedule may vary based on the needs of the shop and as assigned by the production supervisor which will change as required based on job duties demand.
Travel - this position may require travel from time to time.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications – must pass background check and drug test.

Description
Specific responsibilities include:
- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution(s) to solve problems.
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Communicate department strategies, successes, and failures through a variety of means.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and terminate staff.
- Listen to, and resolve, Team Member complaints or issues regarding a variety of matters.
- Work w/Fabrication and Inventory/Purchasing regarding parts availability to properly plan and schedule work.
- Oversee the training of new, and existing, Team Members through Team Leads to include equipment operations or work and safety procedures.
- Review prints in SolidWorks and communicate critical information to Production Team Members, Fabrication and/or Engineering.
- Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
- Attend company meetings to exchange information and coordinate work activities with other departments.
- Prepare reports for management.
- Work with outside vendors (Chassis dealers, drive shaft suppliers, etc.) to order and request deliveries.
- Review BOMs w/BOM Analyst to ensure correct options are ordered.
- Provide team members with assistance in performing difficult or complicated duties.
- Assist in locating parts, verifying correct parts are ordered/delivered, etc.
- Order shop tools and supplies as necessary.
- Other duties as needed to meet production requirements.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required, a combination of education and experience may replace bachelor’s preference.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Manager in a Production Environment.
- Must have strong skills related to Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Must be comfortable performing work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Chassis, Hydraulic, Electrical, and/or Plumbing systems preferred.
