Qualifications
Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field. Pre-licensure master’s or doctoral degree with a Nurse Anesthesia major from a regionally accredited institution and nationally accredited nurse anesthesia program (or equivalent). Current CRNA certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists ( NBCRNA ). Five or more years of clinical experience in the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist ( CRNA ) role. Three or more years as a nurse anesthesia educator with knowledge of program administration. Experience with simulation in nursing or nurse anesthesia education. Excellent communication, organizational, teaching, leadership and time management skills. Outstanding computer skills are a must and include proficiency in Canvas, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
