Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, Installation, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal structures and products, ensuring they meet strict safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication specifications.
- Use various hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Perform STICK Welding, MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and
welding techniques to join metals securely according to industry standards. - Operate plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication machinery to produce precise components.
- Conduct routine inspections of welds and fabricated parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
- Manage rigging, pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and assembly tasks on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
- Follow safety protocols related to welding, rigging, and the use of heavy machinery such as forklifts while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Adhere to ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels or structural steel fabrication when applicable.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures and site protocols.
- Hands-on experience with STICK, MIG, TIG, FCAW welding processes; familiarity with
welding preferred. - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, and other fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems including pipe threading, soldering, machining, and assembly processes.
- Experience working with sheet metal fabrication for ductwork or structural components in manufacturing or construction environments.

License/Certification:
