Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installation and repair tasks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues and verify system integrity.
- Work on low voltage and high voltage systems safely while following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new construction projects to coordinate electrical work seamlessly within framing carpentry and other trades.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand system layouts for both commercial and industrial applications.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for compliance and future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of NEC standards governing electrical installations for safety and code compliance.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on renovation projects or new builds.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems as well as high voltage applications involving power distribution.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
