Napkin Assistant – Night Shift (6 PM – 6 AM)

Location: Oconto, WI

Pay

• Starting at $19.48/hour
• $1.00/hour night shift premium
• $2.00/hour weekend premium
• Wage progression up to $20.98/hour after 1 year
• Pay increases at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year
  
  

Schedule

2-2-3 Rotating Shift – 12-hour shifts (6 PM – 6 AM)

Work only 14 days per month and get every other weekend off!

Week 1:

• Work: Monday & Tuesday
• Off: Wednesday & Thursday

This rotating pattern provides built-in days off, a consistent schedule, and every other weekend free.

Job Overview

We’re hiring a Baler-Utility to support our overnight production operations. This is an entry-level, physically demanding, and fast-paced role — ideal for someone dependable, hands-on, and ready to grow.

Requirements

• No prior experience required — we’ll train you
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be comfortable with physical work including:
• Twisting and turning
• Lifting and stacking
• Operating a pallet jack
• Able to stay on your feet and work in a fast-paced environment

Primary Purpose Of The Role

Responsible for general plant cleaning and organization and able to fill in on other assets if need arises

Essential Functions

• Perform housekeeping duties
• Responsible for general plant cleaning and organization including restrooms and break rooms
• General building and grounds upkeep inside and outside
• Assist other team members as necessary
• Responsible for personal safety
• Responsible for accurate and complete exchange of information with in coming team members.
• May be responsible for performing Baler position: Remove all recyclable gaylords from work stations bring to baler, separate items to be baled per prints/nonprints. Empty sorted tissue into baler by hand, compress and add tissue until baler is full and wire tie bale with supplied wires and eject bale for removal, then proceed to next bale. The baler is required to make rounds throughout the shift and remove full gaylords and replace with empty.
• Must be able to fill in on other assets if need arises
• Responsible to report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Position Qualifications

• Factory experience preferred but not a requirement
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to do basic math skills
• Possesses basic communication skills
• Ability to read & comprehend instructions, memos, specifications, safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
