Maintenance Tech Lead – Night Shift | 2-2-3 Schedule | Clintonville, WI
Pay: Based on experience
Shift Premium: $2.00/hr for hours worked after 6:00 PM
Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 2-2-3 Rotating

About the Role
As a Maintenance Tech Lead, you’ll serve as the shift expert, supporting the Maintenance Supervisor by mentoring technicians, coordinating daily maintenance activities, and ensuring production equipment stays up and running. You’ll be hands-on with troubleshooting and repairs when needed, but also focused on leadership, organization, and creating a safe, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide training and mentorship for new and existing technicians
  • Support scheduling and crew coverage (call-ins, vacations, etc.)
  • Assist with assigning and monitoring maintenance work orders
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical issues
  • Coordinate materials and resources for repairs and projects
  • Ensure safe work practices and GMP/SQF standards are followed
  • Communicate shift updates, issues, and priorities to the supervisor
  • Promote a positive, team-focused work environment
What We’re Looking For
  • 2–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or trade certification preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment
  • Ability to read instructions/manuals and perform basic math
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to step into leadership and mentor others
What Is a 2-2-3 Schedule?
  • Week 1: Work Mon–Tue, Off Wed–Thu, Work Fri–Sat–Sun
  • Week 2: Off Mon–Tue, Work Wed–Thu, Off Fri–Sat–Sun
  • You’ll work only 14 days per month with 3–4 day weekends every other week.
