About The Role
The EHS Manager leads Environmental, Health, and Safety efforts at the facility, driving compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong safety culture. You’ll partner with plant leadership to reduce risk, prevent injuries, and ensure all regulatory and company safety standards are met.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other EHS regulations
- Lead safety programs focused on injury prevention and cost reduction
- Develop and deliver safety training across the facility
- Manage Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Fire Prevention programs
- Lead audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-up
- Review new equipment and processes for safety compliance
- Administer Workers’ Compensation and return-to-work programs
- Serve as the facility lead for emergency response and security incidents
- Manage the EHS budget and support other Hoffmaster facilities as needed
- Promote a visible, proactive, injury-free safety culture
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and safety regulations
- Experience leading audits, training programs, and safety initiatives
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 10–20%
