Are you a detail-driven professional who thrives on data accuracy and cross-functional collaboration? We’re looking for a Bill of Materials Specialist to manage and maintain critical product data while supporting inventory optimization across the supply chain.

In this role, you’ll ensure the accuracy of master data within the ERP system, lead BOM development and maintenance, and partner across Finance, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, and Procurement. Your work will directly impact production efficiency, inventory management, and overall supply chain performance.

Accurate product data is the backbone of manufacturing and supply chain success. In this role, you’ll ensure BOMs and system data are precise and reliable helping reduce production issues, improve inventory performance, and enable the business to operate efficiently and effectively.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Own master data accuracy and integrity, maintaining product data in ERP systems for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Build and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), ensuring accurate multi-level structures aligned with manufacturing capabilities and product requirements
  • Support product setup and system configuration, entering and validating data including material usage, units of measure, and custom product structures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enable accurate product builds, partnering with Marketing, Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure alignment
  • Ensure cost and material flow accuracy, working with Procurement and Finance to maintain up-to-date costing and supply inputs
  • Identify and resolve process inefficiencies, challenging gaps that impact product setup, data accuracy, or customer delivery performance
  • Manage product lifecycle data (PLC), maintaining item status and restrictions within the ERP system
  • Analyze and manage inventory performance, supporting review of excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory across the network
  • Partner on inventory optimization strategies, collaborating with Distribution, Finance, and Supply Chain to improve warehouse capacity and inventory health
  • Monitor inventory metrics and trends, helping drive data-informed decisions that improve supply chain efficiency
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and projects, contributing to broader operational and system improvements

The Essentials

  • 1 Year of experience in a similar role
  • Experience/strong knowledge of supply chain concepts, MRP systems, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Self-motivated with outstanding decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Relevant financial/accounting experience
  • Able to use conceptual thinking to achieve goals
  • Ability to travel to plant locations for benefit education and meetings.

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree
