Overview
The Licensed Property and Casualty Customer Service Representative, assists in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. Provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service to accounts in support of Agents activities.
Duties
- Commercial policy renewal activities: pulling renewals in advance, reach out to client with renewal questionnaire that implement and/or recommend coverage updates, audits the client and ensures proper coverage
- Work with commercial and personal policy renewals
- Send out certificates of insurance
- Help with property and casualty billing
- Process endorsements on property & casualty policies through various companies
- Document detailed notes from current and new client interactions
- Other duties such as, but not limited to, warmly answering the phones and greeting clients, helping clients with such things as billing, car changes, lien holder changes, etc.
- Scanning documents
- Demonstrates a hungry, humble, and smart approach to teamwork and problem-solving
- Additional responsibilities may be added as needed
- Cross selling and determine coverage gaps
- Scan policy renewals and provide them to clients
Requirements
- Valid Property & Casualty Insurance license required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience in customer support roles within the insurance industry
- Strong sales orientation with the ability to identify client needs and offer suitable solutions confidently
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—with active listening capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment such as computer, copier, scanner, phone skills for efficient data management
- Strong time management skills
- Proficient at typing with attention to detail
- Strong proof-reading to ensure accuracy
- Ability to read and speak English fluently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
