What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Commercial Insurance CSR position at Hoffman Insurance Group, Inc.?
The Commercial Property and Casualty Customer Service Representative, assists in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. Provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service to accounts in support of Agents activities.
Responsibilities
- Commercial policy renewal activities: pulling renewals in advance, reach out to client with renewal questionnaire that implement and/or recommend coverage updates, and ensures proper coverage
- Cross selling and determine coverage gaps
- Scan policy renewals and provide them to clients
- Work with property and casualty policy renewals
- Send out certificates of insurance
- Help with property and casualty billing
- Process endorsements on property and casualty policies through various companies
- Document detailed notes from current and new client interactions
- Other duties such as, but not limited to, warmly answering the phones and greeting clients, helping clients with such things as billing, car changes, lien holder changes, etc.
- Scanning documents
- Demonstrates a hungry, humble, and smart approach to teamwork and problem-solving
- Additional responsibilities may be added as needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong ability to work with all office equipment (copier, scanner, phones, computer, etc.)
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong time management skills
- Proficient at typing with attention to detail
- Strong proof-reading to ensure accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Property & Casualty license
- Read and speak English fluently
- Insurance experience required
